Nails Of The Week

It has been a super busy week! I've worked around 12 hours every day. I'm still really trying to keep this blog alive and update it as often as I can!

What do you think about the new layout? I still need to do some finishing touches to it. I just haven't had any time!

Anyways, I wanted to go for a natural look on my nails this week. I'm wearing Hawaiian Orchid by OPI.

My First International Swap

I did my first international swap with Kristina from Canada. I was so excited to get the package. It felt like Christmas! :D

We did just a little swap. I finally got Shu Uemura eyelash curler!!! I have been wanting it for like 5 years! :D


I got Shu Uemura eyelash curler, St. Ives scrub, two NYX eyelashes and Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara.

IsaDora Diamond Lip Gloss

IsaDora Diamond Lip Gloss reminds me of MAC's Dazzleglasses. Dazzleglasses are maybe a little bit more shimmery and they have a better lasting power. IsaDora Diamond Lip Gloss isn't as sticky as the Dazzleglasses, which is good. Unfortunately the Diamond Lip Glosses come in only two colors! IsaDora at Cosmetic Mall.

I'm not sure if these lip glosses are still available everywhere. I bought mine from a sale. I didn't find Diamond lip gloss from their website. But they have alot of other great lip glosses too.

Diamond Lip Gloss has a similar brush with the Dazzleglasses.

Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm Review

The skin around my eyes has been extremely dry this winter. I had dry spots around my eye contour area and my skin seemed to have lost it's elasticity. My usual eye creams just didn't seem to help at all. So I decided to try out Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm for dry skin. I think I've found my favorite eye cream!


What it promises:
Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm is designed to treat dry or very dry skin. It promises to soften fine lines and restore elasticity of the skin.


What I think about the product:
Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm is rich in texture and leaves my skin feeling really soft. After the first use my skin felt much more smoother and moisturized. Also it brought back the elasticity of my skin. It absorbs pretty fast. My make-up goes on alot smoother and the product's not too greasy for the make-up to stay on.

The product comes in a handy 20 ml tube which I really love. The product comes out easily and it's hygienic.

IsaDora Lipstick Swatch

I don't know how many of you have heard of a brand called IsaDora. I really like some of their products.

Here's a swatch of IsaDora Soft Touch lipstick in Princess Rose (number 42).

Nails Inc. The Hills collection

I finally got my hands on The Hills nail polish collection by Nails Inc. I ordered the collection from QVC UK. QVC sells the collection with Nails Inc. Kensington top coat.

These are my very first Nails Inc. polishes. I really love the consistency of these nail polishes. Though you really need two coats to get an even color. That doesn't bother me cause I always apply two coats. I hate the handle on these nail polishes. It's too wide and It's hard to get a good grip of it.


Hollywood is a super cute Barbie pink cream.



Beverly Hills is a red cream.



Melrose Avenue is a violet blue cream. I couldn't get an accurate color to the photo. It photographed more blue. This is a very gorgeous color! It's my favorite from the collection.



Rodeo Drive is a dark green/teal cream.

OPI Nail Polish Haul

Russian Navy
Russian Navy is from the OPI Russian collection. I've wanted this color forever but it was always out of stock! It's a gorgeous navy blue with purple shimmer.




Russian Navy vs. Yoga-ta Get This Blue!
Russian Navy on index & middle finger. Yoga-ta Get This Blue! on ring finger and pinkie. Yoga-ta Get This Blue! is lighter and more blue than Russian Navy. I also like the consistency of Russian Navy much more than Yoga-ta Get This Blue!




We'll Always Have Paris
We'll always have Paris is from OPI's La Collection De France.
It's a red/brown cream. I really love this color! It's perfect for the autumn!




You Don't Know Jacques!
You Don't Know Jacques! is also from the La Collection De France. I love this collection btw! I've wanted this color for ages and finally got it! It's a taupe/grey cream. Very chic color!




Over The Taupe
Over The Taupe is part of the Brights Collection. It's a taupey cream. I'm glad I got this color cause I think I love it more than You Don't Know Jacques!




You Don't Know Jacques! vs. Over The Taupe
You Don't Know Jacques! on index and middle finger. Over The Taupe on ring finger and pinkie. Over The Taupe is similar to You Don't Know Jacques! They look almost identical on the bottle but on nails Over The Taupe is much lighter.
Over The Taupe would be my pick for the autumn and You Don't Know Jacques! for the winter.




Pamplona Purple
Pamplona Purple is from OPI's España collection.
It's a purple cream. This is also a perfect autumn color!




Mod About You
Mod About You is from OPI's Brights collection.
It's a bright light pink cream! I thought I'd love this color, but it just doesn't look good on me. Also the consistency is too watery.




Italian Love Affair
Italian Love Affair is from Italiana collection. It's a gorgeous pearly ice pink color! I'd love to love this nail polish! But I hate the consistency. I find this nail polish really hard to work with.
