I've been getting some questions about my weight loss since my last blog post. Just remember that I'm not a professional and everything you do is at your own risk. This is just how I managed to lose weight and what worked for me. I lost weight only with diet. I didn't exercise at all (although I do walk alot since I don't own a car). I didn't feel motivated enough to exercise, simply cause of my busy school schedule. I've read that if you lose weight only by diet, you lose more muscle than fat. So I do suggest to add some exercising to your plan. But again I'm no expert on this.

I wanted to lose weight fast, cause I knew I wouldn't stay motivated too long. So my goal was to lose a kilo each week. I used one of those calorie calculators that you can find online. I calculated how much calories I can eat each day. It depends on your size and daily activity level. So make a goal for your self and use one of those calorie calculators to determine how much you can eat to get to your goal.

I tried to eat healthy foods like whole grain, vegetables and chicken breast. I ate alot of soups and salads. I ate 5 times a day and can't say that I was ever hungry. I didn't start to crave bad foods, cause I ate often. Sometimes I ate low calorie berry kissel, sugar free candy or drank Coca Cola Zero. Once a week I allowed myself to eat some popcorn or maybe a hamburger.

I stayed really motivated, cause every week I saw results! I lost almost 9 kilos in about 8 weeks. Now that I'm at my goal weight, I'm slowly going back to eating normally. I'm still going to count my calories, try to eat healthy foods and stay away from junk food. I'm slowly eating more and more calories to see how much I can really eat without gaining weight. Also I'm kinda learning how much I can eat on each meal and which foods have surprisingly high calories. I also really wanna start exercising when I have more time.

Here's an example of my daily meals:

Breakfast: Oatmeal porridge made into water (no sugar, butter or milk), to make it more tasty add some low calorie berry kissel

Lunch: Salad (no salad dressing) or vegetable soup

Snack: vegetables, fruits, yogurt or baby food (those fruity ones)

Dinner: Chicken breast (cooked in the oven with no fat) and veggies or salad
(my favorite was broccoli, carrots, zucchini and paprika with a little bit of honey and basil made in an oven cooking bag)

Evening: 2 slices of whole grain rye bread with 3 grams light margarine and 25 grams cheese
vegetables
